De situatie op de woningmarkt zal de komende anderhalf jaar niet structureel veranderen. Wel verwachten we een tijdelijke opleving van de transactieaantallen in het laatste kwartaal van 2012. De woningprijzen zullen onder druk blijven staan.

De economische krimp in het eurogebied was in het derde kwartaal iets kleiner dan een kwartaal eerder. Dat is positiever dan wij verwacht hadden. Wij denken dat de krimp in het laatste kwartaal van het jaar weer sterker zal zijn.

De omvang van het Nederlandse Bruto Binnenlands Product (BBP) is in het derde kwartaal van 2012 met 1,1% afgenomen. Nederland balanceert hiermee op de rand van recessie. De kans is groot dat we hier in de komende jaren vaker mee te maken krijgen.
