Woningmarkt toont begin van broos herstel

De woningmarkt trekt langzaam maar zeker aan. Een aantal indicatoren wijzen op herstel, maar dat herstel is wel broos. Wij voorzien een stijging in transacties in het vierde kwartaal van 2013 en verwachten prijsstabilisatie in de loop van 2014.

China: Disappointing growth not necessarily bad (Engelstalig)

Contrary to earlier expectations, China’s economic growth slowed slightly. This was not necessarily bad news, as the growth rate remained between 7.5%-8%, whereas significantly stronger or weaker growth would currently both be undesirable. The bottom of the Dutch owner-occupied housing market is in sight. The fall in house sales has virtually come to a halt and price declines have also slowed. We expect this development to continue and that house prices may stabilise as well in 2014.

De Nederlandse woningmarkt zal de eerste maanden van dit jaar nog geen herstel laten zien. De weinig rooskleurige economische vooruitzichten, dalende koopkracht en oplopende werkloosheid zorgen ervoor dat de prijzen in 2013 onder druk blijven staan.
